Pre-Authorized Debit program - Once enrolled in the program, the HOA Quarterly Assessments will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. Trash pickup days are Tuesdays and Fridays - Recyclables are picked-up on Tuesdays. After the trash and recycling collection has taken place, the trash cans and recycling bins must be stored on the rear of the townhouse or a location unseen from the street or common areas. Your neighbors appreciate you doing this as soon as possible after trash collection. Additionally, use securely closed trash cans (covered containers). This regulation helps in preventing wild animals from roaming our community and also assists with trash control in the common areas. Everyone's assistance is appreciated keeping the common areas and Bay Valley Lane free of trash.
Yard Debris are picked-up only on Wednesdays - Bagged leaves must be stored on biodegradable paper bags. The leaves can also be placed inside a trash can labeled "Yard Waste". Miscellaneous yard clippings such as tree limbs and brush, must be securely bundled. The bundles should not exceed 30 lbs and should not be more than 4-5 feet in length.
Pick-Up After Your Pet - It has recently been reported that some dog owners are frequently allowing their dogs to defecate on the common area of our community, in neighboring yards, and failing to properly dispose of the waste. Not only does this present a health hazard, it is in violation of Fairfax County Code. If any future occurrences are witnessed it is recommended that it be reported to the Fairfax County Police Department non-emergency phone number (703) 691-2131. Please leash-curb and clean up after your pets. Pet owners who violate the Fairfax County's pooper scooper law may incur a fine up to $250.00.
Street Lights Out? - Report it to Sequoia Management or directly to NOVEC (CustomerService@NOVEC.com or 888-335-0500). You will need to provide the nearest street address where the light pole is located and the pole number (i.e., 123-45-678).
Visitors Parking Spaces - Each townhouse is assigned two Reserved parking spaces. If you have more than two vehicles on your household, please do not park the additional vehicle(s) on the Visitors parking spaces, park them on Bay Valley Lane.
Fairfax County Police Non-Emergency - Whether it’s a suspicious person trolling the neighborhood, a mailbox that’s been vandalized, or a stolen bicycle, all crimes matter to police. Online reporting is the quickest, most convenient way of documenting incidents and police urge residents to take advantage the online reporting system.
